Many people ask about how much space Gallium takes up. They see 15g of Gallium for sale and they ask: How big is that?
The density of Gallium is about 5.9 grams per cubic centimeter (5.9g/cc). A "cc" is a measure of volume. One milliliter of water takes up the same space as one cc of a gas. So, 15 grams of Gallium is 2.54cc or 2.54ml. For reference, a teaspoon is about 4.93ml.
